Shelterwood Construction works with our clients and the project architects from the very beginning of the design phase.

 

One key requirement of working with Shelterwood Construction is that we only work on projects where there is also an architect as part of the team. We work as a cohesive group to help our clients understand the feasibility, cost, and scheduling of building their dream home. By working as a united team oriented towards the same goal, we bring the dream of a new home into reality.

 

With a pre-construction contract we work hand in hand with architects and engineers to understand the cost and complexity of each home we build before we put a shovel into the ground. Our pre-construction phase will end with the team having a solid understanding of the upcoming build, including the cost of the home as well as a construction schedule.

 

For the build phase of the projects, we can operate on either a fixed-price contract or a time and materials based contract.
